JULY 2008 DATA SYSTEM CONVERSIONIn order to better serve your needs, Butler Bank converted to a new data processing system. Below are some key changes and dates that you should be aware of, so that you will experience minimal interruptions in service.
QUICKEN will be available for our online banking customers starting October 12th!
Interest on Deposits
Interest will be credited to your account monthly as of the last business day of the month.
For accounts being closed, interest accrued, but not credited will be forfeited (e.g. A savings or checking account closed during the month will only earn interest through the last day of the previous month.)
Online Banking/Bill Pay
For current Online Banking/Bill Pay users, your User ID will remain the same. It will now be called “Access ID”
For security purposes, passwords are not being converted. So the first time you log into Online Banking on July 21st (or later), you will be prompted on the “First time log in” screen. Your default PASSWORD will be the last 4 digits of your social security number.
If you have questions, “Log in Help” provides further details. Click the “Log In Help” button to access.
For security purposes, Butler Bank Online Banking has a password lockout system. If your password is entered incorrectly three consecutive times, the user is “locked out” of the system and must call Butler Bank Online Banking Customer Service at (978) 259-1000 to have your password reset. Customer service is only available Monday through Friday 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
You will be given the Option to change your Access ID. (This is optional)
You will then be prompted to change your Password. (This is NOT optional) For your convenience, at this point you may choose to reinstate your current Password.
Authentication Process:
After completing the Access ID and Password process, you will continue to the mutli- authentication process by choosing questions and answers that will identify you.
Online Banking Help:
If you require further assistance with online banking, you can contact the Butler Bank Online Banking Customer Service line, Monday – Friday 9:00 am – 4:30 p.m. at 978-259-1000.
New phone numbers:
On-Line Banking (Customer Support): (978) 259-1000 (available during normal business hours only)
Bill Pay: (866) 648-4262 (24 hours per day support line for customers currently enrolled.)
Telephone Banking
If you are an Online Banking customer and a telephone banking customer, you will use the same access ID and Password for both of these systems.
If you update your access ID and Password in the Online Banking system, use your new ones when you go into telephone banking for the first time.

eStatements
All current eStatement customers will be receiving paper statements as of July 31st.
You will need to re-enroll for eStatements after receiving your month end statement. You can sign up at www.butlerbank.com or through online banking.
You will need to read the eStatement disclosure and again agree to its terms and conditions to receive only eStatements going forward. This is most important to the Bank’s Butler Advantage account customers.
Term Deposits
Term Deposits will no longer be passbook accounts. Please bring your passbook in and the bank will replace it with a Certificate.
Statements
Statement Cycle and Interest Posting cutoff dates are changing from the last business day of the month to the last day of every month.
Butler Advantage
All Butler Advantage account holders will earn the higher rate of interest for the month of July and receive ATM fee refunds up to the $10.00 limit for the month of July.
