Butler Advantage™ Checking:
How do you qualify?
Butler Advantage™ Checking is Butler Bank’s FREE Rewards Checking account. It pays term deposit rates and refunds ATM fees you have paid to other banks up to $10.00 each monthly statement cycle when you meet the requirements.
The Monthly Requirements are easy:
1. Use your Debit Card for 10 or more purchases
2. Have either a Direct Deposit or an Automated (ACH) Debit
3. Receive eStatements with Online Banking to securely view your statement monthly.
To earn your Butler Advantage™ Checking rate (bonus rate) for any given month, each of the 3 requirements must be met by the end of that month’s qualification period. If all requirements have been met by the end of the qualification period, you will earn your Butler Advantage™ Checking rate and ATM refunds up to $10.00 for that month’s statement period.
A monthly qualification period means the period beginning one business day prior to the first business day of the current statement cycle through one business day prior to the close of the current statement cycle. The statement cutoff date is the last business day of each month. Saturday, Sunday or Federal holidays are not business days. Transaction activity will be measured by items POSTED to your account during each qualification period.

Do you offer Online Banking?
Yes, Butler Bank offers FREE Online Banking and FREE Bill Pay to all its deposit customers. Apply online or contact a Personal Banker for assistance.
Do you offer eStatements (Electronic Monthly Statements)?
Yes, Butler Bank offers eStatements. These electronic statements provide you with a free, convenient and environmentally friendly electronic version of your account statements.
You can sign up for eStatements by accessing Butler Bank’s online banking service then clicking on “view statements” under the accounts tab to get started.

When will my account be opened?
Your account will be opened once the initial deposit is received.
When will my funds be available?
Funds from the following deposits will be available on the same business day of your deposit: cash, wire transfers, electronic payments (direct deposits). Funds from checks are available the following business day after we receive the deposit. Longer holds may apply on new accounts.
How do I add an additional signer to my account?
To add an additional signer a new signature card needs to be filled out, and both account signees need to sign the signature card.
Where can I find ATMs in my area?
Butler Bank has an ATM machine outside of Gateway Center I, 10 George St., Lowell, MA and two on 16 North Main St., Andover, MA. In addition, Butler Bank ATM cards can be used at other banks ATM locations.
Gateway Checking and Butler Advantage™ Checking customers will be reimbursed (up to $10 per statement cycle) for other banks ATM fees. Butler Advantage™ Checking customers must meet certain requirements to be eligible for this refund.
How soon after I open an account will I receive my debit card and checks?
You should receive your debit card and checks within ten business days of account opening.
What if I lose my ATM/Debit card?
You should contact a Butler Bank Personal Banker immediately at 1-888-285-7251.
